There are some hidden object games on facebook, but none of them can comapre with Gardens of Time right now. Though they keep releasing new ones, but I would really suggest you to check this one out. There are a couple of problems with the repetitive tasks that you have to do in the game – but still the game itself is very good.
You start as a new player of Time Society, that’s a community which travels in time, while visiting the most important moments of history. You go to places like Egypt, London and others. You also have a competitor who wants to get into this society and does whatever she can to accomplish it, so the game gets more interesting.
This game is divided in chapters, and each chapter has couple of HOG scenes for you to explore. You can easily hop through the chapters and replay the scenes, so that’s not a problem.
For the biggest part it plays as any other hidden obj. game. You have a list of items which you need to find, and you should find them as quickly as possible. You have a hint button which helps you often, and it refills pretty quick. Other power-ups include goggles or thermometer which can guide you to the right direction, but they are not unlimited. That means you will either have to buy them, or get them from your friends.
This game is made so that you will need to replay object scenes to get more points, thus get star rating and achieve / unlock new scenes. That’s what we call grinding in RPG, here you do the same. You repeat the same thing over and over again just to become stronger, better and higher lvl.
One thing though is that every time you replay the scenes, items are on the same spot – meaning after few tries you can beat the scene in a couple of seconds. That play to your favor though, cause you can get nice points bonus for completing scene so quick.
One other part which Farmville fans will love is that you have to decorate a garden. For me it’s not really a very nice feature and it seems like just a way to kill the time. But for you decoration addicts , it will be just right!
So to summarize everything, this game is really worth trying. A little bit of repetition didn’t hurt anyone, and you can spend many hours looking for items, and decorating garden while taking a break from item search.
